What is a
Z-score?

Unlike standard BMI which compares you to all adults, a Z-score (standard deviation score) compares your baby to a healthy global median of the same exact age and gender.

σ = Standard Deviation

It measures how far away your baby is from the "average" healthy baby.

WHO Standards

The calculator uses the World Health Organization Multi-centre Growth Reference Study (MGRS) data.
